What is Wills Week?
It provides people with an opportunity to have a simple Will be written for a donation to HospiceCare
How Does it Work?
We have partnered with Adam Douglas LLP in Alnwick and Sanderson, McCreath and Edney in Berwick. They both have agreed to waive 100% of their fees for writing single and double Wills, in lieu of making a donation to HospiceCare. To take advantage of this special campaign, you need to make an appointment with the solicitors directly. For Sanderson, McCreath & Edney please book directly, prior to the 7th of May 2024. The dates for Alnwick Wills Week 2024 are yet to be confirmed.
Is There a Minimum Donation?
Yes, there is. We are asking for a minimum donation of £100 (normally £240) for a single will and £200 (normally £480) for a double will. 100% of your donation will come directly to HospiceCare.
Dying Matters Café - 9th May 2024
During Berwick Wills Week, we are hosting this drop in cafe with tea or coffee and cake at the Hazel Marsden House, Berwick, in support of our Wills Week. During the day members of our clinical and fundraising team and volunteers will be available to answer questions and have a chat about HospiceCare and Dying Matters. All tea and coffee is free but if you wish to make a donation to HospiceCare, that is greatly appreciated.

Adam Douglas LLP has been one of our valued business partners for over 14 years. They have supported us with previous Wills Weeks, raffles, The Big Give and hosting donation tins. They have raised almost £15,500 which has funded a full time nurse for more than 6 months.
