Job Overview
The Business Partnership Lead is responsible for developing and managing relationships with key business partners to enhance Hospice business growth, and patient satisfaction through collaborative and mutually beneficial partnerships. The primary role is to identify potential funding partnership opportunities and build collaborative relationships to achieve mutual goals.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
​
The Business Partnership Lead will conduct market research, analyse potential partners' alignment, and develop partnership proposals. They will oversee partnership implementation, monitor performance, and ensure that both parties derive value from the collaboration. Managing all aspects of relationship management and delivery of contractual obligations and tailored benefits to fulfil agreements, including day-to-day communications with donors.

Key Responsibilities
​
While working as Business Partnership Lead, you will be required to:

Conduct market research to identify potential partnership opportunities

Assess potential partners' alignment with organisational goals and values

Create partnership proposals and strategies to approach potential collaborators

Negotiate terms and conditions of partnerships to achieve mutual benefits

Draft and finalise partnership agreements and contracts

Prepare an annual budget and provide monthly reports

Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in partnership agreements

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing partners

Lead on Charity of the Year Partnerships

Recruit 25 new Business partnerships before April 2026

Act as a central point of contact for partner organisations.

Facilitate communication and collaboration between partners

Monitor the progress and success of partnerships against predefined budgets.

Analyse partnership data and provide regular reports to Head of Income Generation

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Main Responsibilities:
Promotion within local North Northumberland communities of HospiceCare North Northumberland Dementia services Undertaking risk assessments prior to patients/ clients undertaking Dementia activities to ensure risk of injury is minimised Working in partnership with other providers of Dementia services to enhance provision and accessibility of services Assist line manager to Identify and recruit a volunteer workforce to enhance Dementia service delivery Planning and implementing activities such as crafts, and music events. Be aware of Hospice procedures relating to identification of safeguarding incidents and vulnerabilities of patients with Dementia Sourcing activities and members of the community with skills to share at our cafes, including contacting schools and youth groups. Leading activity groups that we provide including seated exercise class, 3 cafes and walking football in 2 locations.

Dementia Support Worker – Part-Time (15 hours/week)

We are excited to be expanding our Dementia Support Services and are looking for two enthusiastic and compassionate Dementia Support Workers to join our team. Each post is for 15 hours per week, with flexible scheduling to suit the needs of the service and team.

Are you an experienced Retail Manager looking for a new challenge, with a growing organisation that has ambitious plans for the future?
HospiceCare North Northumberland is a charity that provides end of life care at home and bereavement and dementia support across North Northumberland.
To fund this work we currently operate 4 retail units in Berwick, Wooler and Amble, alongside a fledgling e-commerce facility. We are looking for a Store Manager to work in our Wooler Store alongside our current Store Manager and Volunteers, under the direction of our Retail Operations Manager.
We aim to increase income into the Hospice, enabling us to fulfil our ambitious plans, to provide more care to more people across our community.

Purpose of the role
To ensure the effective running of the retail shop.

Vacancy - Dementia Support Volunteers
We are looking to recruit additional volunteers to support our Dementia services in Alnwick and Berwick. You will be required to help at our Dementia Drop-In Cafe to support staff with activities such as music, bingo, and art, as well as serve tea and coffee.

If you are into more sporting activities, we have our regular Dementia Walking Football sessions at Alnwick and Berwick, and seated exercise classes for the person with a dementia diagnosis and their carer.
​
Full training will be given and you will work alongside one of our Dementia team.
