Leaving a Legacy to HospiceCare

A valid Will is the only way that you can be sure that your wishes are carried out after your death. Making a Will is an easy, quick, and generally inexpensive process.  Whatever the size of your estate, a Will ensures that you can use it to maximum effect and provide for those you are for and the causes that you support. A Will is also tax effective. As making a Will is so important we strongly advise that you use a practising solicitor or a professional Will writer to write or amend your existing Will

Why Leave a Legacy to HospiceCare?

HospiceCare is almost entirely funded by donations. This year we expect our running costs to be around £1m to continue to meet the growing demand for our clinical services across North Northumberland.  We will receive a small contribution from the NHS of around 5%, the rest we have to find from fundraising, Trusts, donations, our shops, and Legacies. By leaving a gift in your Will to HospiceCare your compassion and kindness will live on to ensure that we are able to continue to meet the growing demand for our care and support.  Leaving a legacy to the Hospice contributes towards helping local families like Andrew's...

Already have a Will?

While many aspects of your Will may remain the same as you go through life, some things may change prompting you to make changes. Rather than totally rewriting your Will, some people choose to write a Codicil. A Codicil is simply an addition to an existing Will. HospiceCare can provide you with this form if you wish to include the Hospice in your Will.. If you would like more information about HospiceCare or would like to request one of our Legacy packs, please complete the form below and one of our Fundraising team will get back to you.
