Shared Moments of Reflection Virtual Event

Sunday 6th December at 6pm

We have all faced personal loss in some way this year whether this is a loved one’s death, missed anniversaries, lost time with relatives/friends that we have missed/been unable to visit, or simply the feeling of a lost year and worries of what’s to come.

Wanting to acknowledge the challenges we have all faced, HospiceCare is extending an invitation to everyone, not just those who have had previous contact with the Hospice, to join us for a shared moment of reflection and the lighting of a candle, from the comfort of your own home. Everyone is free to join us for their own personal reasons, which we hope people will find comforting knowing  that they will be sharing this poignant moment ‘virtually’ with many others in our communities at that precise time.

HospiceCare’s Virtual Shared Moments of Reflection Invitation

Our special event will be held on Sunday 6th December 2020 at 6pm when we will have a minute of shared reflection and the lighting of our candles.

For those who wish/able to view, we will be posting a beautiful video on our Facebook page to support our event - all you will need to do is visit our Facebook page @hospicecarenn at 5.40pm on Sunday 6th December to hear special readings and poems culminating in the lighting of a candle and a shared moment of reflection at 6pm.

If you are unable to join us on the 6th December, but would still like to have your own moment of reflection, you can view our video from 7pm on 6th December 2020 by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page.

Our Shared Moments of Reflection virtual event is free of charge and everyone is welcome to join us.

Dedicate a Star In Memory

If you would like to dedicate a star in memory of your loved one or for another special reason, you can do so online by clicking on the link below. We would love to see our sky alight with twinkling stars, each one representing memories of the losses we have all felt, not just today, but at any point in our lives.

This is a public page, so your friends and family will also be able to see your dedication and share your memories
