Open Garden 2026

Thank you for visiting our open Garden web page, we look forward to seeing you at the Gardens next year.
We have some lovely gardens opening in 2026 for the Hospice starting in April 2026 and finishing in October 2026.
We are just working on the Open Garden and Summer Events brochure for 2026 but in the meantime a snapshot of previous years!

Handlebards 2026 - As You Like It
Join The HandleBards at one of our three locations for a bicycle-powered, laugh-out-loud production.

Pedalling from venue to venue with al their set, props and costumes on the backs of their bikes, the HandleBards are a four-strong troupe of actors who are spending the summer bringing environmentally sustainable Shakespeare to venues across the UK.
Join the troupe at Pallinsburn House, Rock Hall or Felton Park.
"Explodes with energy, a genuine treat from start to finish" The Stage
This is an outdoor performance, so please bring your own low-backed chair or blanket to sit on, a picnic to tuck into and dress for our Northumberland weather!

Car parking will be available in an adjacent field in which our volunteer stewards will direct you to. Please bring a torch as it maybe dark when you leave and the car park/field will be unlit. Disabled Parking - blue badge holders will be directed to the designated area.

Sorry no dogs.

Please note photographs will be taken of the event for social media purposes for the Hospice.

We would love your feedback
Thank you for visiting our Open Gardens web page, we look forward to seeing you at the Gardens this year. Please tell us about your garden visits on social media and tag us at https://www.facebook.com/hospicecarenn so we can share them with our supporters.

As a local independent charity, we rely on the generous support of visitors to our annual Open Gardens to help raise much-needed funds. This year we expect our running costs to be around £1.5m and will receive just a 5% contribution from the NHS, the rest we have to generate from fundraising, donations, trusts, legacies, and our retail stores. If you would like to make a direct donation to the Hospice we would be hugely grateful. Whatever the size of your gift, every penny counts. Thank you.
