Light up a Life

Light up a Life

Alnwick & Berwick

An opportunity to help families and friends to come together to remember and celebrate the lives of loved ones.

Our Light up a Life events are open to anyone, not just people whose loved one was cared for by HospiceCare. At each venue, you will be warmly welcomed by a member of our HospiceCare Family Support Team, who will assist/support you if necessary during the event. There will be readings, poems as well as music provided by local musicians. You will also be invited to light a candle in memory of your loved one, followed by a moment of quiet reflection. You will then be invited to join us for mince pies and mulled wine.

Everyone is welcome to join us, no previous contact with the Hospice is necessary. If you are apprehensive about joining us, please don't hesitate to call our nursing team directly on T. 01665 606515 or T. 01289 309997
