HospiceCare Young Ambassador Aims:
Dominic attends school in Alnwick. He was very excited to be given the title- Young Ambassador in 2015. Dominic was given this title as he is a big help at many of our events over the past 4 years, Open Gardens and Crafts fairs to name a few. He loves cycling, video games and building Lego.
Dominic helps his mum (Event & Community Fundraiser, Emma Arthur) at events in many ways and also spreads the news of the Hospice events to his peers and teachers at School.
Dominic has plans to raise money for HospiceCare this year by running alongside his mum at some challenge events this year. He will have an online giving page set up soon so you can follow his challenges.
Lewis attends theatre school in Newcastle, runs his own entertainment company and also has a slot on Lionheart Radio Station. He is a big help in raising the profile of the Hospice within the local community by spreading the word on his travels and he supports us further as our very own singing star and DJ at fundraising events.
Look out for Lewis in your school! He’s hoping to come along with us when we talk to you about the work HospiceCare does and you can ask him what being a young ambassador is all about.
You too could be a future young ambassador, it’s a great way to gain all sorts of experience and of course you can put it on your CVs and references.
We need you to help spread the word about HospiceCare and volunteering within your peer group and we want to understand what type of fundraising events and volunteering opportunities appeal to you.
