Caring for Life!

Volunteer stories

After losing his Dad 4 years ago and seeing just how many people helped him towards the end of his life, Malcolm decided that he wanted to give something back, by helping people who were caring for a loved one at home.

Lynne started work with the Hospice as a volunteer in 2000, initially helping in day care and driving patients.

In the winter of 2008 I moved to Alnwick from South West Scotland and wanting to make friends and find a purpose in Alnwick I chose to volunteer at Hospice Care North Northumberland.
