HospiceCare North Northumberland

Caring for Life!

Get Involved

In just the last 12 months we have delivered over 7,400 hours of Hospice at Home care and support.

To continue to meet this demand we need to generate over £525,000 this year. We will receive just 7.5% from the NHS the rest we have to find from donations and fundraising.

If you would like to donate to HospiceCare by making a one off or a regular donation you can click the BT Mydonate button below. If you decide to donate regularly, you become one of our “Friends” and you can find out more about becoming a "Friend" below. Thank you for your support.

Trusts and Foundations

Grants from Trusts and Foundations are an important source of income, currently accounting for about 24% of our total income.

Some grants are restricted, only to be used for specific purposes or projects, but most are unrestricted and can be used to support our core running costs. This is important, because almost 80% of our total costs are for payroll, reflecting the fact that our key assets are people. Many of the Trusts listed in our Thank You Wall below have given us grants regularly over several years, and we are extremely grateful that they appreciate and support the work we are doing.

Community Fundraising

Are you interested in setting up a fundraising group in your area? Are you thinking of taking on a challenge and want to support us by asking people to sponsor you to do it?

You could get together with friends, family or work colleagues and form a group in your local community. We can provide fundraising & promotional materials, so do keep us informed of any events or activities you are planning, and we can advise you on the best way to maximise the fun and money raised. We can also support your Innovative events through our marketing department via our charity website, Facebook & Twitter pages, publicity, posters and balloons.
